Vincendo la 9aTappa, Facchetti completa un "Full" (un tris di vittorie ed una coppia di secondi posti") con cui riesce a strappare (seppure per un solo punto) la maglia rosa ad Horobet;
mentre col suo secondo posto Monico raggiunge (ma senza superarlo) Domenighini in terza posizione e puo' ora cominciare a pensare che, con un po� meno di sfiga (e' la seconda volta che non e' primo per il Buchholz) potrebbe anche andare oltre.
